The short version

  • MotionTrust only holds what you send. Form entries, call bookings, emails and messages. The website runs Google Analytics only if you accept it in the cookie banner, and no advertising tags.
  • The free tools stay in your browser. Numbers and copy you type into them are not sent to MotionTrust, unless you choose to email yourself the result.
  • MotionTrust never sells personal data. It goes only to the providers that help run the agency, and they may use it only for that.
  • No marketing without a tick. The MotionTrust weekly update is opt-in, and every issue can be unsubscribed from.
  • You stay in control. Ask for a copy, a correction or deletion at support@motiontrustdigital.com. We reply within one month.

The detail is below. It is written to be read, not skimmed past. If anything is unclear, ask us at support@motiontrustdigital.com.

Who we are

MotionTrust Digital Ltd (“MotionTrust Digital”, “we”, “us”) is an Amazon marketing agency, specialising in Amazon SEO, PPC, listing optimisation and compliant review growth, registered in England and Wales under company number 14356147, with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.

We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy: we decide why and how it is used. The one exception is data that belongs to your own Amazon customers, which we may see while working inside your account; for that data you are the controller and we act on your instructions (see Access to your Amazon accounts).

For anything about your data, email support@motiontrustdigital.com with “Privacy” in the subject line, or write to us at the address above.

What this policy covers

This policy applies to personal data MotionTrust Digital collects through:

  • this website, including the enquiry, audit and reputation forms and the free tools;
  • booking a call through the calendar on our booking page;
  • email, WhatsApp, Telegram and phone conversations with us;
  • the weekly update, if you subscribe;
  • the work we do for clients, including access to Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central and Amazon Ads.

It does not cover other websites we link to, such as Clutch, Trustpilot, LinkedIn, Amazon or the AI assistants linked from some of our pages. Once you follow one of those links, that site’s own privacy policy applies.

What we collect, and where it comes from

Where it comes fromWhat we receive
Enquiry and audit formsYour name, email address, WhatsApp number, Amazon storefront or listing URL, monthly revenue range, the service you are interested in, product category, and anything you write in the message box.
Reputation enquiry formYour first name, email address, brand, website, marketplace, ASINs, number of ASINs, revenue range and a description of the problem.
Booking a callYour name, email address, the time you choose and any answers you add. The calendar is run by Calendly, which passes these details to us.
Free toolsNothing. The seven tools calculate in your browser and send nothing to us. If you ask for the report by email, we receive your email address, the report and whether you ticked the weekly update.
Weekly updateYour email address and the topics you pick (PPC, listings, SEO, organic reviews).
Email, WhatsApp, Telegram, phoneYour contact details, what you tell us, and any files you send.
Client workNames, job titles and contact details of the people we work with, billing details, the business information you share, and the data visible in the Amazon accounts you give us access to.
Visiting the websiteLike any website, the server that delivers our pages receives your IP address and browser details with each request. Our pages also load fonts from Google, so Google receives the same request details. If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, Google Analytics also records the pages you view, how you arrived, and your device and rough location, in aggregate.

Please don’t send us sensitive information we haven’t asked for, such as health details, or passwords for your Amazon accounts. We never need your password; see Access to your Amazon accounts.

How we use it, and the legal basis

UK data protection law only allows MotionTrust Digital to use personal data where there is a lawful basis. This is what MotionTrust uses it for, and the basis relied on each time.

PurposeData usedLawful basis
Replying to an enquiry and preparing a free audit you asked forContact details and what you send usLegitimate interests (answering people who contact us) and steps you ask us to take before a contract

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have weighed them against your rights, and you can object at any time (see Your rights). We do not make decisions about you by automated means, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

The weekly update and other emails

Contacting MotionTrust, requesting a free Amazon audit or booking a strategy call does not put you on a mailing list. The weekly update goes only to people who have ticked the box asking for it.

  • It is one email a week with our newest articles on the topics you chose.
  • You can unsubscribe from any issue, or by emailing support@motiontrustdigital.com.
  • When you unsubscribe we keep your address only on a suppression list, so we don’t email you again by mistake.

Emails about an enquiry or a live engagement are not marketing, and they continue for as long as the conversation or the work does.

Access to your Amazon accounts

Most MotionTrust work happens inside clients’ Amazon accounts, so this deserves its own section.

  • Minimum access. Where you grant us access to Seller Central or Amazon Ads, we use the minimum permission level needed for the agreed scope.
  • No passwords. Access is granted through Amazon’s own user permissions, so you can see and remove it at any time. Please don’t send us your login.
  • Revoked at the end. Access is revoked when the engagement ends.
  • Kept separate. We never use one client’s account data for another client.
  • Your customers’ data. Order screens can show buyers’ names and addresses. For that data you are the controller: we look at it only where the agreed work needs it, we don’t copy it out of your account, and we follow Amazon’s data protection rules.

Who we share it with

MotionTrust Digital does not sell personal data, and does not share it with anyone for their own marketing. It goes only to the people and services that help run the agency, each for the purpose listed:

Transfers outside the UK

Some of the services above, such as Calendly, Google and Meta, are run by companies based in or storing data in the United States or elsewhere. Some of our work may also be carried out by team members working outside the UK.

Where personal data leaves the UK, it goes only to countries covered by UK adequacy regulations, or under the safeguards UK law provides, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses. Email us if you would like details of the safeguard for a particular transfer.

Keeping it secure

MotionTrust limits access to personal data to the people who need it for the work, use providers that protect data in transit and at rest, and remove access when someone no longer needs it. No system is completely secure, so if something went wrong that put your data at risk, we would tell you, and the regulator where the law requires it, without undue delay.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Delete your data, where we no longer have a good reason to keep it.
  • Restrict how we use it while a question about it is being resolved.
  • Take it with you in a portable format, where we hold it on the basis of consent or a contract.
  • Object to uses based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time.
  • Withdraw consent, for example to the weekly update, without affecting what happened before.

To use any of these rights, email support@motiontrustdigital.com. It is free. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we release anything, and we will respond within one month. If a request is complex, the law allows up to two more months, and we would tell you why within the first month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first at support@motiontrustdigital.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, look into it, keep you updated and tell you the outcome.

You also have the right to complain to the UK data protection regulator, the ICO, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Children and other websites

MotionTrust Digital’s services are for businesses, and this website is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Pages link to other sites, including Amazon, review platforms, social networks and AI assistants. We don’t control those sites and are not responsible for how they handle your data.

Changes to this policy

MotionTrust updates this policy when what it does with personal data changes, for example if we add a new service provider or start using analytics. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. If a change affects clients or subscribers in a meaningful way, we will tell them by email.

Quick answers

Does MotionTrust Digital sell personal data?

No. MotionTrust Digital never sells personal data and does not share it with anyone for their own marketing. It goes only to the service providers that help run the agency, such as its website host, email provider and Calendly, and they may use it only to provide that service.

Does the MotionTrust website track visitors?

Only with your consent. If you click Accept in the cookie banner, Google Analytics counts your visit in aggregate; otherwise nothing does. There are no advertising tags, and the free Amazon tools calculate in your browser and send nothing to MotionTrust.

Will MotionTrust add me to a mailing list if I request a free Amazon audit?

No. Contacting MotionTrust, requesting a free Amazon audit or booking a strategy call does not add you to any list. The weekly update on PPC, listings, SEO and organic reviews goes only to people who tick the box asking for it, and every issue can be unsubscribed from.

How does MotionTrust access my Amazon Seller Central account?

Through Amazon’s own user permissions, at the minimum level the agreed work needs. MotionTrust never needs your password, never uses one client’s data for another, and access is revoked when the engagement ends.

How do I get a copy of my data or have it deleted?

Email support@motiontrustdigital.com. It is free, and MotionTrust Digital responds within one month. You can also complain to the ICO, the UK data protection regulator.
